Jakarta, Indonesia, October 2024 – Mareno Tene has joined Glints as the Deputy Head of Talent Acquisition, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic talent acquisition and people management. In this new role, Mareno will lead efforts to source, attract, and hire top talent across multiple countries in Southeast Asia. He will focus on enhancing employer branding, candidate experience, and cross-cultural talent strategies to support Glints’ mission of empowering professionals and organizations in the region.
Prior to joining Glints, Mareno served as the Head of Customer Partnership at Michael Page Indonesia, where he led a team managing relationships with multinational companies, local conglomerates, and state-owned enterprises. His expertise in client relations and communication played a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
Previously, Mareno held various leadership roles at Michael Page, including Manager for HR, Legal, and External Affairs. Over seven years, he focused on recruitment for legal and HR positions, building relationships with key stakeholders and delivering tailored recruitment solutions for clients.
Mareno also gained valuable experience in the telecommunications sector, serving as Contract and Vendor Management Manager at PT. Indosat Tbk and Legal Counsel at PT. XL Axiata Tbk, where he managed vendor performance, contract negotiations, and legal risk mitigation.
Earlier in his career, Mareno worked with Nokia Siemens Networks as an Acceptance Controller, overseeing project timelines and contractor management for large-scale telecommunications projects.
