Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada – October 2024 – Jillian den Otter-Minter has joined Vancity as the new Director, People Consulting, where she will lead HR initiatives, strategic consulting, and organizational development efforts across the credit union. In this role, Jillian aims to strengthen Vancity’s commitment to equity, people management, and workplace innovation.
Jillian previously served as Senior Business Partner, Equity & People at Vancity for nearly two years, where she was instrumental in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Her tenure there focused on enhancing organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management.
Prior to Vancity, she was the Human Resources Manager at the Greater Victoria School District, overseeing HR functions and managing employee relations for three years. Jillian also had a diverse career at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where she held roles such as Assistant Director, Talent & Culture, Recruitment Manager, and Health & Wellness Manager, contributing to talent development and wellness programs for over seven years.
Earlier in her career, Jillian held various HR and management roles at Cara Operations and Milestones Restaurants, where she gained extensive experience in HR management, training, and operational leadership, driving growth and staff development.
