Atlanta, Georgia, United States, March 2025 – Jim English has been named as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at Directional Capital, bringing with him a wealth of experience in HR leadership, organizational development, and talent strategy. In his new role, Jim will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies to support Directional Capital’s continued growth and investment objectives.
Before joining Directional Capital, Jim served as Vice President of Human Resources at AFC Brands, where he led HR initiatives, talent acquisition, and employee engagement programs for over three years.
Prior to this, he was Vice President of Human Resources at FAT Brands Inc. and held several HR leadership positions at Global Franchise Group, where he was instrumental in organizational restructuring, workforce development, and HR policy formulation.
Jim’s career also includes over five years at The Home Depot, where he managed staffing operations and HR functions for key business segments, and seven years at Nordstrom as an HR Manager. His extensive background in employee engagement, leadership development, and HR policies makes him a strong asset for Directional Capital as it continues to expand its portfolio and strengthen its workforce strategies.
