Beirut, Lebanon, February 2026 — Joëlle Massaad has started a new position as Head of People & Culture at Algorithm Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Biologix, where she will lead the people and culture agenda across both organizations, supporting talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and cultural transformation in the pharmaceutical sector.
Prior to this appointment, Joëlle Massaad spent over five years at Unilever, where she held several senior HR leadership roles including Head of HR Unilever Levant & Iraq, Talent Manager North Africa, and Change Management Lead. During her tenure, she led regional HR strategy, employer branding, and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives while supporting complex, multi-country operations across North Africa and the Levant.
Earlier in her career, she served as Head of Human Resources at Zaatar W Zeit and Caritas Lebanon, following operational and transformation roles at Zimmer Biomet and planning leadership positions at Procter & Gamble. These experiences strengthened her expertise in organizational development, operations, and large-scale people initiatives across the MENA region.
