Austin, Texas, United States, November 2024 – Amber Tarrant has been appointed as the Head of Talent Acquisition, America’s at Wise, a global leader in financial technology. In her new role, Amber will spearhead Wise’s talent acquisition strategy across the Americas, focusing on building high-performing teams and supporting the company’s rapid growth in the region. Her hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, underscores Wise’s commitment to innovation and collaboration in talent acquisition.

Amber joins Wise from Kenvue, where she served as Head of NA Talent Acquisition, Corporate Functions, and Early in Career. During her tenure, she led recruitment strategies for key corporate roles and early career programs, combining data-driven insights with innovative employer branding initiatives.

Prior to Kenvue, Amber was with Amazon, where she held several pivotal roles, including Talent Acquisition Leader for Amazon Ads, IMDb, and Devices and Services. She implemented strategies to improve offer acceptance rates, enhance DE&I hiring, and save significant costs through accelerated recruiting initiatives.

Amber also brings extensive experience from her time at Google, where she worked as a Talent Acquisition Lead for Google’s Global Network. She led sourcing teams and introduced innovative hiring frameworks, such as best-vs-first hiring practices, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Google’s recruitment efforts.

Her early career includes roles as a Technical Recruiter at Amazon and leadership positions at Boingo Wireless and Robert Half Technology, where she honed her skills in full-cycle recruiting, talent management, and strategic hiring.
