Toledo, Ohio, United States, May 2026 — Tonia Schoen has stepped into a new role as Vice President of Talent at Owens Corning, marking a major milestone in her more than three-decade journey with the global building products leader.
In this elevated role, Tonia will oversee Owens Corning’s integrated enterprise talent strategy, including the Talent Center of Excellence, covering talent acquisition, learning & development, talent management, HRIS, people science, and analytics. She will also work closely with HR business partners to strengthen enterprise leadership capabilities and accelerate organizational growth.
Before this promotion, Tonia served as Vice President of Human Resources, Roofing Business, where she provided strategic HR leadership for one of Owens Corning’s largest business units. Earlier, she held multiple senior HR leadership roles including Director of Human Resources, Composites Business Group, HR Leader, Building Materials Group Sales, HR Leader, Siding Solutions Business, Senior Human Resource Generalist, and Employee Relations Consultant.
Across her long tenure, Tonia has developed deep expertise in talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, change management, leadership development, succession planning, HR transformation, and enterprise capability building.
