Malta, August 2025 – John C Micallef Moreno has been appointed as Head of People & Culture at Corinthia Hotels, where he will oversee people and culture operations across the cluster that includes Radisson St Julian’s, Corinthia St. George’s Bay, Verdi Marina, Verdi Gzira, and Vivaldi Hotel. In this role, Moreno will lead HR strategy, employee engagement, and cultural development initiatives to support Corinthia’s vision of creating memorable guest and employee experiences.
Moreno has been with Corinthia Hotels since late 2024, most recently serving as Learning and Development Manager, where he played a key role in advancing training programs and professional development across the group.
He brings over 20 years of leadership experience spanning hospitality, HR consulting, business development, and humanitarian management. Prior to Corinthia, he was General Manager at Infinity Services Malta and operated as an HR Consultant for over a decade, advising clients in hospitality and retail on workforce optimization, training, and HR department transformation.
Earlier in his career, Moreno founded HRmatters, a recruitment and consultancy agency providing end-to-end HR solutions for private and public organizations across Malta. He also served as Disaster Manager with the Malta Red Cross, coordinating international humanitarian responses during the Libya crisis, and worked in international business development with Malta HealthCare & Catering Ltd, expanding operations across Malta, Madrid, and Dubai.
