Plano, Texas, United States, July 2025 — John Sommers has stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer at Manner Polymers, bringing with him over 14 years of financial leadership experience across the industrial distribution and manufacturing sectors.
Prior to this appointment, John served at GSG – Graphic Solutions Group Inc., where he played a pivotal role over a span of nearly 15 years. As Vice President of Finance from 2016 to 2025, he led key financial strategy initiatives, driving organizational growth, optimizing capital structure, and supporting long-term business planning. In his earlier role as Purchasing Manager, he streamlined procurement operations, developed supplier partnerships, and strengthened inventory management—contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and cost savings.
An alumnus of Texas A&M University, John holds both a Master’s degree in Industrial Distribution and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. His combination of strategic financial insight, operational understanding, and deep industry knowledge positions him well to lead Manner Polymers through its next phase of growth and innovation.
At Manner Polymers, John will oversee financial planning, risk management, and capital deployment—aligning finance strategy with the company’s mission to deliver cutting-edge, compliant, and sustainable PVC compound solutions.
