Joseph Heaney Appointed as President of MASA’s Business Group

With a solid background spanning nearly a quarter-century in employee benefits, Heaney brings to MASA his wealth of experience from his time as the senior vice president of MetLife’s Group Benefits Regional Market Sales organization, where he was instrumental in delivering a broad spectrum of benefits solutions to employees and retirees.

In his pivotal new role, Heaney is tasked with steering a vigorous growth strategy for MASA’s health benefits sector, primarily across the U.S. and the Caribbean Islands. Moreover, he will explore innovative avenues for MASA’s strategic advancement in various domains such as Group Benefits and Strategic Partnerships, extending the company’s footprint in the U.S. national and regional practices, venturing into new international markets in the LATAM region, and forging significant distribution partnerships.
