Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2025 — Marriott International has elevated Juhi Roy to the role of Vice President, Hotel Development, South Asia, recognizing her outstanding leadership and contribution to the company’s strategic expansion in the region.
Juhi brings over 13 years of experience with Marriott International, having most recently served as Senior Director – Hotel Development, South Asia. In this role, she led key hotel development initiatives across South Asia, overseeing a wide range of deal structuring, brand partnerships, and pipeline expansion.
Prior to this, she was Director – Development, South Asia, where she was instrumental in building a strong brand portfolio across key markets. Her responsibilities included working closely with stakeholders to identify, negotiate, and close hotel management deals that aligned with Marriott’s long-term growth objectives.
Her earlier roles at Marriott include Assistant Manager – Hotel Development, South Asia, and she began her journey with the company in 2012, supporting development leadership teams with strategic initiatives.
Before joining Marriott, Juhi served as Executive Assistant at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for over four years and held a similar role at Hindustan Times. Her diverse industry exposure and deep operational insight have made her an invaluable asset in the hospitality sector.
In her new position, Juhi will spearhead Marriott’s development strategy across South Asia, further enhancing the brand’s presence and fostering key partnerships to accelerate growth.
