Julia brings over 20 years of HR expertise, including leadership roles in global organizations across various sectors. At Whitecroft Lighting, she will oversee human resources strategies, workforce planning, and talent development, driving the company’s mission of creating future-proof lighting solutions while fostering an inclusive and productive workplace culture.
Before joining Whitecroft Lighting, Julia King was a Senior HR Business Partner – Group at Intertek, a global FTSE 100 company, for nearly two years. In this role, she provided strategic HR leadership to the Group executive team and Group functions, working on workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement across the organization.
Julia’s career also includes an impressive 18-year tenure at adidas, where she held various HR leadership positions. She served as Head of HR – Retail North Europe, overseeing HR operations across multiple countries, including the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. She led a team of HR professionals, driving talent development and employee engagement across the adidas and Reebok retail divisions.
Earlier in her career, Julia gained extensive experience in retail management, including roles such as Flagship Store Manager at USC, where she managed large teams and contributed to operational excellence in retail environments.
