McKinney, Texas, United States, October 2025 – Mission Critical Group (MCG) has announced the appointment of Julie Peffer as its new Chief Financial Officer. In her role, Julie will lead all aspects of Finance and IT for the rapidly growing organization that provides innovative solutions for critical power challenges. Mission Critical Group specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, delivery, and servicing of advanced power infrastructure, including switchgear, modular data centers, microgrids, and generator enclosures.
Prior to joining Mission Critical Group, Julie Peffer served as Chief Financial Officer at BigBear.ai, a publicly listed AI company (NYSE: BBAI), where she led finance, accounting, FP&A, program control, and pricing functions. She played a pivotal role in realigning cost structures, executing funding strategies, and driving operational excellence to support the company’s aggressive growth and turnaround goals.
Before that, Julie held the role of Chief Financial Officer at MedeAnalytics, a healthcare analytics leader. She oversaw finance, accounting, legal, and information security functions and helped transform financial insights into strategic plans aimed at improving business performance and operational resilience across the U.S. and U.K. healthcare markets.
Earlier, Julie spent over three years as Vice President of Finance at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she supported the global sales, marketing, and support organization generating over $40 billion in annual recurring revenue. She built and scaled a global finance team of over 130 professionals across 45+ countries and played a crucial role in AWS’s rapid growth trajectory.
Her career also includes senior leadership roles such as Vice President of Finance at Flowserve Corporation, Chief Financial Officer of Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems at Raytheon, and Corporate Vice President of Business Analysis and Planning at Lennox International. Across these roles, she developed deep expertise in strategic finance, operational improvement, and large-scale transformation in both industrial and technology-driven organizations.
Earlier in her career, Julie held key finance roles at Textron, Cessna Aircraft Company, Sterling Software, and Texas Instruments, where she gained extensive experience in managing complex financial operations, business performance optimization, and compliance in engineering and defense environments.
