New York, New York, United States – October 2024 – Justin Taylor has been named the Chief People Officer at Newrez LLC. In his new role, Justin will lead the HR function, focusing on fostering a high-performing culture, driving strategic HR initiatives, and supporting Newrez’s growth as a leading mortgage company. He will be instrumental in aligning the people strategy with the company’s mission to provide a customer-first journey in mortgage lending and servicing.
Prior to joining Newrez LLC, Justin was the EVP Human Resources/CHRO at Bluegreen Vacations for over six years, where he reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for all HR aspects across corporate Centers of Excellence, field operations, and service HR. He played a key role in driving organizational growth, developing HR strategies, and coaching the executive team to foster a cohesive and performance-driven culture.
Before his tenure at Bluegreen Vacations, Justin was the SVP Human Resources at Charming Charlie, where he managed HR functions across corporate offices and field operations. Reporting to the company’s president, he spearheaded talent acquisition, learning and development, and reward and talent management initiatives, contributing to significant organizational transformation.
Earlier in his career, Justin held various HR leadership roles at The Body Shop, including Group HR Director/SVP Human Resources (Interim), VP Human Resources Americas Region, and International Director Employee Reward and Engagement. In these roles, he demonstrated expertise in global HR management, compensation and benefits, employee learning and development, and cultural transformation across regions including London, Toronto, and Raleigh-Durham.
Justin also served as the Director of Training and Organisation Development at HMV Canada Inc., where he focused on learning and development strategies. His HR career began at Cineplex, where he was the Manager of Training and Development, helping to build foundational HR skills that laid the groundwork for his subsequent leadership roles.
