Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, July 2025 – K V V Y S Narayana has taken on a new role as Associate Vice President at Coromandel International Limited, marking a significant advancement in his extensive HR leadership career.
Before joining Coromandel, Narayana served for over 12 years at UltraTech Cement, where he held a series of progressive HR leadership roles including Function Head / Vice President HR, Function Head – HR at various plant units, and Senior General Manager – Employee Relations. His responsibilities spanned large-scale industrial HR operations across Rajasthan and Karnataka, focusing on employee relations, statutory compliance, labor engagement, and organizational development.
Prior to UltraTech, he led HR for both plant and corporate operations at Kemwell Biopharma, where he managed HR for multiple manufacturing divisions and R&D, as well as general administration functions such as security, housekeeping, and transport. He was instrumental in implementing HRIS, conducting employee satisfaction surveys, and negotiating with unions.
He also held senior HR leadership roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ranbaxy, and an earlier tenure at Kemwell Biopharma, where he developed deep expertise in people strategy, training, and performance enhancement in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
With over two decades of experience, Narayana brings a wealth of knowledge in plant HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and organizational effectiveness, making him a valuable addition to Coromandel International’s leadership team.
