Ruth Lee Appointed as Head, Rewards and People Strategy at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 2024 – Ruth Lee has been appointed as the new Head of Rewards and People Strategy at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad. In this role, Ruth will lead strategic initiatives to enhance employee rewards, compensation structures, and people-centric strategies, ensuring a strong alignment with the bank’s business goals and workforce development plans.

Before joining Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, Ruth served as Vice President, Performance & Rewards at Alliance Bank itself, where she successfully led the Annual Compensation Review cycle and implemented analytics-based reward decisions. She was responsible for fostering a high-performance culture through continuous employee benefits reviews and contributed to evaluating workforce and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to that, Ruth spent over 8 years at AIA, where she held several leadership positions, including Senior Manager, Recognition & Rewards. During her tenure, she collaborated with the Group Rewards counterpart in Hong Kong to lead Group-wide change management and total compensation reviews, while also managing workforce planning, policy reviews, and HR system enhancements.
