Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — Kaman Chawla has been appointed as Director & General Manager – Consumer Business, India Region at Lenovo India, marking a significant leadership transition in Lenovo’s India growth journey. In this role, Kaman leads Lenovo’s consumer business across PCs and smart devices, holding full P&L accountability while driving go-to-market execution, AI-powered portfolio acceleration, gaming innovation, omnichannel expansion, and high-performance team building to strengthen Lenovo’s consumer segment leadership in India.
With nearly two decades of distinguished leadership at HP, Kaman Chawla most recently served as Category Head – Consumer PC Business for India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, where he held full P&L accountability for a billion-dollar portfolio. He led strategic growth programs, delivered sustained margin improvements, achieved strong market share leadership in emerging AI PC segments, and spearheaded alternate channel development initiatives that strengthened long-term growth pipelines.
Earlier at HP, Kaman served as National Sales Manager – Consumer Business, overseeing a half-billion-dollar sales portfolio across PCs, peripherals, print and services. His leadership consistently drove revenue growth, improved forecast accuracy, strengthened strategic partnerships, and expanded channel coverage nationwide through disciplined sales execution and cross-functional collaboration.
He also held multiple senior category and country leadership roles at HP, including Category Head – Consumer & SMB Print, Country Category Manager, Country Manager – Large Format Retail, Zonal Manager – North & Central India, and Country Manager – Strategic Channels. Across these roles, he led several business turnarounds, doubled market share in critical segments, pioneered subscription and profit-upfront models, expanded e-commerce and modern trade partnerships, and consistently delivered strong category leadership and profitability improvements.
Earlier in his career, Kaman built strong commercial leadership foundations at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, where he served as DGM Sales and Brand Manager – Liquid Detergents, driving market penetration, rural distribution expansion, brand repositioning and significant revenue growth. He began his professional journey at Infosys Technologies Ltd and Reliance Telecom, building early expertise across pre-sales, product marketing and channel expansion.
Kaman Chawla holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, strengthening his strategic, commercial and leadership foundation for building high-impact consumer businesses.
