Sumgayit, Absheron–Khizi, Azerbaijan, May 2025 – Kanan Rahimli has joined Azersun Holding as Chief Human Resources Specialist, taking on a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s HR strategy as it continues to lead the food production and retail sectors across the region. In his new position, Kanan will be responsible for advancing talent management practices, optimizing workforce planning, and driving HR transformation aligned with Azersun Holding’s mission of social and economic development.
Prior to this, Kanan served as Senior Human Resources Specialist at Ağdam, Füzuli və Xocavənd rayonlarında Bərpa, Tikinti və İdarəetmə Xidməti Publik Hüquqi Şəxs, where he was deeply involved in managing human resources operations in strategic reconstruction and development projects in the Karabakh region for over a year.
Earlier, he held the same role at The Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan Republic in the Karabakh Economic Region, focusing on regional HR structuring and governmental human capital strategies, and contributed significantly to workforce planning during the region’s reconstruction phase.
Before that, Kanan served as Human Resources Director at Santral Elektrik, where he led HR strategy in the energy sector, supporting organizational growth and operational expansion in Azerbaijan. He also spent over three years at DOST İş Mərkəzi MMC, steadily progressing through roles from HR Specialist to Senior HR Specialist.
Kanan began his career as HR Assistant at Azertexnolayn LLC and later joined Azərbaycan Dəmir Yolları (Azerbaijan Railways) as a Junior HR Specialist, gaining critical experience in industrial HR operations and administrative systems.
