Laura Carlson Appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition at Bond Vet

United States, September 2025 – Bond Vet, a doctor-led veterinary care provider redefining the clinic experience for pets and people, has announced the appointment of Laura Carlson as its new Head of Talent Acquisition. In this role, Laura will be responsible for leading recruitment strategies, optimizing talent acquisition processes, and ensuring Bond Vet continues to attract and retain top veterinary and operational talent to support its mission of building sustainable, fulfilling careers for veterinary professionals.

Laura most recently served as Director of Talent Acquisition Operations at Smile Brands Inc., where she drove operational excellence in recruitment processes while focusing on HR reporting, coaching, and data-driven insights to improve efficiency.

Before that, she worked at Thrive Pet Healthcare for over two years, first as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations and later as Director of Talent Acquisition Operations and Enablement. There, she led global HR operations, enhanced recruitment systems, and enabled transformation initiatives to support over 400 veterinary providers across the United States.

Earlier in her career, Laura spent more than four years at Infor, holding roles as Sr. Business Analyst and later Product Manager – Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, where she managed product roadmaps, developed global HR solutions, and partnered with executives to implement innovative TA systems.

She also gained valuable experience in HR systems and global recruiting through roles at Ecolab as Sr. Global TA Operations Analyst and at Pearson as Global Talent Acquisition Systems Analyst, where she oversaw recruitment technology, compliance, and vendor partnerships across large-scale international operations.

Laura began her HR journey with roles at the State of Minnesota, Fiduciary Counselling Inc., and other organizations, building expertise in employee relations, workforce planning, and full-cycle recruitment.
