Portland, Oregon, United States, May 2024 – Kara LaDuke Zucker has taken on the role of Senior Director, Human Resources People Solutions at Nike. Bringing a wealth of experience in human resources and a strong background in people solutions, Kara is set to drive innovative HR strategies at Nike, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
Kara LaDuke Zucker has been with Nike for over five years, holding various key roles in the HR department. Since May 2023, she has been the Human Resources Director – People Solutions Consulting, Global Functions, where she led strategic HR initiatives across global functions. Prior to this, Kara served as the HR Director, HR Business Partner from June 2021 to May 2023, and as the Global Human Resources Business Partner from May 2021 to May 2023. Her leadership in these roles has significantly contributed to the enhancement of HR practices at Nike.
Before joining Nike, Kara had a successful tenure at State Farm for nearly nine years. She started as an Insurance Account Representative in March 2010 and progressed through various roles, including Executive Assistant, Agency Field Specialist, Customer Care Center Sales Supervisor, and Leadership Development Associate – HR Philanthropy. From December 2015 to December 2018, Kara was the HR Manager – Philanthropy/Diversity & Inclusion at State Farm, where she championed diversity initiatives and fostered inclusive work environments.
Kara’s career began with roles such as Lead Fundraiser at the University of Oregon Annual Giving Program and Compliance Service Specialist at Inovis Computer Software Company, providing her with a strong foundation in customer service and compliance.
