Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2025 — Karan Bajwa has been elevated to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Honasa Consumer Ltd., the parent company of leading personal care brands including Mamaearth, The Derma Co., and Aqualogica. His appointment comes at a time when the organization is poised for the next phase of its expansion, with a continued emphasis on people, purpose, and performance.
Bajwa has been a driving force behind Honasa’s human capital strategy since joining the company in 2021. As Senior Vice President – HR, he was instrumental in building the company’s employee experience frameworks, digitizing core HR processes, and supporting the organizational transformation through its public listing journey. His leadership has helped define the company’s distinctive culture and contributed significantly to its recognition as a modern, agile, and employee-focused workplace.
In his new capacity as CHRO, Bajwa will be responsible for shaping and executing Honasa’s overarching people strategy, aimed at nurturing an inclusive, high-performing, and future-ready workforce. His elevation marks a strategic move by the company to strengthen its internal leadership bench as it scales operations across India and global markets.
Bajwa brings more than a decade of HR leadership experience across some of the most respected names in the industry. Before joining Honasa, he spent over six years with airtel, where he held multiple leadership roles including Head – HR Shared Services, Technology and Employee Experience, Head – Total Rewards, and National HR Business Partner for Sales and Distribution. During this time, he led the integration of Telenor India’s workforce, oversaw executive compensation, and advanced employee digitization initiatives across the organization.
Earlier in his career, he was a part of Reckitt’s Leadership Program, where he managed campus hiring strategies and talent development initiatives. His HR journey began with internships and talent projects at L’Oréal, laying a strong foundation in FMCG and consumer-oriented businesses.
Known for his passion for employee well-being, digital transformation, and inclusive leadership, Bajwa is expected to bring a fresh strategic lens to Honasa’s people operations as the company expands its portfolio and market presence.
