Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 – Karina Kent has stepped into a new leadership role as Director – People and Change Projects at Chalhoub Group, strengthening the Group’s transformation and people agenda across its growing luxury retail ecosystem in the Middle East.
In her new role at Chalhoub Group, Karina Kent leads People and Change projects, continuing her journey of over five years with the organization. Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior People Partner – Technology & Data Analytics, where she led regional people strategy for technology and data teams, drove workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, employee engagement, and acted as a key change agent shaping employee experience and cultural transformation.
Earlier at Chalhoub Group, she also held the role of Senior People Partner – Supply Chain and Logistics Operations, leading people strategy for over 800+ employees across multiple fulfillment and distribution centers in the GCC, specializing in change management, wellbeing, cultural transformation, and reward-led manpower planning.
Before joining Chalhoub Group, Karina Kent built strong regional HR and talent acquisition leadership experience at Electrolux, where she served as Regional HR Business Partner – Middle East & Africa, Talent Acquisition Projects Lead – APAC, Middle East & Africa, and Talent Acquisition Manager – Middle East & Africa, leading next-generation AI hiring tools, employer branding, and multi-country talent pipelines.
She earlier held leadership roles in talent acquisition and engagement at NIVEA India, and developed core HR, rewards, and business partnering expertise at Tata Motors, including serving as Performance & Rewards Manager and Corporate HR Business Partner. She began her HR career with an internship at Intel Corporation.
Karina Kent holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
