Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2025 – Karthikeya Kumar has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at Focus Softnet, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions. In this role, he will lead HR strategy, organizational development, and talent transformation initiatives to align with the company’s global growth plans and digital ambitions.
Prior to joining Focus Softnet, Karthikeya served as Assistant Vice President at VALMIKI GROUP, where he was responsible for building HR capability and fostering a culture of teamwork across functions. His focus on alignment between business goals and people strategy contributed to operational improvements across departments.
Before this, he worked as Assistant Director of Human Resources at Malla Reddy University Hyderabad, where he spent nearly three years. In this academic institution, he played a key role in student engagement, labor relations, and HR process efficiency, contributing to institutional development.
Karthikeya also served as the Founder of K3 Consultants, where for nearly four years he provided strategic HR advisory and transformation services to clients across sectors. Earlier, he gained valuable HR experience at organizations like Alekhya HR Consulting, Agronix Management Consultants, and started his career as a Java Software Engineer at Veromax Software Solutions before transitioning to HR.
He is currently also mentoring with WE Hub – A Government of Telangana Initiative and Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society, sharing his HR and leadership expertise with entrepreneurs and startups. He holds an MBA from Sri Venkateswara University.
