Hyderabad, Telangana, India, September 2025 — Vamsiram Builders and Developers Private Limited has announced the appointment of Karthikeyan (Cvk) as Head – Talent Acquisition. In this role, he will be fully responsible for Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, strategically working with a motivated team to address skill-based hiring needs for projects across Hyderabad, including prominent developments such as Vamsiram Manhattan and Vamsiram Newmark. He will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to align staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies with the organization’s long-term goals.
Prior to this appointment, Karthikeyan served as Assistant General Manager – HR & Admin at Vasavi Group, where he led talent acquisition for multiple high-rise and commercial projects in Hyderabad. He was instrumental in building talent pipelines and successfully supported landmark projects such as Vasavi Anandanilayam, Vasavi Avasa, Vasavi Crown East, and Vasavi East One.
Earlier, he was Head – Talent Acquisition at JMC Projects (India) Ltd, where he oversaw recruitment needs across the Buildings division, also supporting the Water division for critical staffing requirements. His responsibilities included HR strategy, recruitment best practices, employee engagement, payroll, and policy development while ensuring compliance and retention. His leadership spanned multiple projects including high-rise residential towers, industrial buildings, hospitals, airports, and government infrastructure.
At Welspun Enterprises Ltd, Karthikeyan served as Regional Head – HRBP, fully accountable for talent acquisition and manpower mobilization, playing a key role in the UP JJM Rural Water Supply Project. He earlier worked with Vishvaraj Group as DGM – Talent Acquisition, driving end-to-end recruitment needs across water, wastewater, highways, and building projects nationwide while significantly reducing recruitment costs and building a strong internal hiring team.
He also held leadership roles at NCC Limited, where as Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, he fulfilled manpower requirements for over 2000 staff across housing, highways, metros, water, and government projects. At Voltas Limited – A Tata Enterprise, he managed international hiring needs across India, UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Earlier in his career, he worked in the Middle East with AL FARAA Construction and Industrial Group and Overseas AST Co LLC as Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, leading hiring for high-rise, commercial, marine, and industrial projects across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He also served as Manager – HR at Interocean Ship Repairs LLC, leading workforce recruitment across India and UAE, and handled HR responsibilities for projects spanning ship refurbishment, industrial plants, and government facilities.
Karthikeyan began his career with G-PLAST (P) Ltd as Junior Officer – Human Resources and later contributed to large-scale projects at Hindustan Construction Company as Senior Officer – HR, where he managed manpower needs for water supply and sewerage projects. With over two decades of experience across India and the GCC, he has built deep expertise in talent acquisition, mass recruitment, skill mapping, and HR transformation for large infrastructure, construction, and industrial projects.
