Madrigal Pharmaceuticals has appointed Kate Armanetti as the new Senior Director of HR Business Partnership. With over two decades of human resources experience, Armanetti is poised to strengthen Madrigal’s talent management and HR strategies in her new role.
Armanetti joins Madrigal Pharmaceuticals following a significant tenure at Shield Therapeutics plc, where she served as the Senior Director of People and Culture from January 2023 to April 2024. Her role involved enhancing organizational culture and implementing HR strategies that supported the company’s dynamic growth in the competitive pharmaceutical market. Prior to her role at Shield Therapeutics, she was a Human Resources Business Partner at Sanofi, focusing on the Oncology US Commercial division from February 2022 to January 2023. Here, Armanetti demonstrated her capability to align HR initiatives with critical business outcomes.
Her extensive career also includes nearly a decade as Head of People and Organization for the PUMA Group in Boston, where she led significant HR functions and contributed to the company’s robust market presence. This role was preceded by strategic HR positions at Sonos, Inc. and over a decade at Genzyme Corporation, which has equipped her with a deep understanding of the HR needs in fast-evolving environments.
