Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, September 2024 – Katie Lackey has been named Vice President, HR Digital IT at Honeywell. In this pivotal role, Katie will lead the global digital IT function for Honeywell, driving HR strategies that support the integration of technology into the company’s business processes. Her expertise in business strategy, organizational effectiveness, and change management will contribute to aligning HR with the company’s long-term goals, ensuring the effective transformation of digital HR initiatives.
Katie has been with Honeywell for nearly five years. Before taking on this new position, she served as the Vice President of Global Talent Management & Learning, where she played a critical role in aligning Honeywell’s talent processes with its business strategy. She successfully led change management efforts to enhance succession planning and implemented a groundbreaking skills strategy that positioned skills as a core business asset.
Earlier, Katie was the Vice President of Learning, leading a team that developed and implemented the company’s first Learning Experience Platform and expanded Honeywell’s talent development programs by 250%. Her strategic leadership earned her the prestigious Honeywell President’s Award, making her the first HR recipient to receive this honor.
Before joining Honeywell, Katie held leadership roles at Bank of America and The Frontier Project, where she focused on organizational design, learning and development, and leadership coaching.
