Dallas, Texas, United States, June 2024 – Katie Rykal has joined Critical Project Services as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Katie will lead the human resources function, focusing on strategic HR initiatives, talent management, and organizational development to support the company’s growth and success.
Prior to joining Critical Project Services, Katie served as Vice President of Human Resources at Triumph Group for over five years. She was a core member of the HR leadership team responsible for all aspects of human resources for the Aerospace Structures business, a $1.5 billion division with nearly 4,200 employees globally. Katie partnered with the Executive Vice President and the Aerospace Structures leadership team on strategic initiatives, organizational development, and change management. She provided overall leadership and guidance to the business HR function, overseeing talent management, career development, training, compensation, and benefits. Katie also worked with the broader HR group to develop and improve HR processes and systems that supported business growth in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Before her tenure at Triumph Group, Katie was the Director of Human Resources for North America Supply Chain at Godiva Chocolatier from October 2016 to December 2018. She was responsible for front-line HR support for the three major manufacturing plants in North America under the Pladis platform. Katie supported the North American Supply Chain team by providing coaching and guidance on employee engagement, performance management, and development. She also contributed to the business strategy by identifying and building organizational capabilities, structures, and processes.
Katie’s earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Eaton, where she held various HR leadership roles over eleven and a half years. Her roles included Director of Human Resources for Hydraulics – Americas Operations, where she was responsible for establishing solid business partnerships and driving HR functional excellence across nine locations in the United States. She also served as Global Human Resources Leader, Compensation & Employee Relations Manager, Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Supervisor. In these roles, Katie drove HR functional excellence, built organizational capability, and implemented effective compensation and employee relations strategies globally.
