United States, October 2025 – Katy Hendricks has been elevated to the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Powell Communications, marking a significant milestone in her career with the firm. In this new capacity, she will oversee the agency’s marketing strategy, client engagement, and growth initiatives, reinforcing Powell’s position as a leading force in public relations and communications.
Hendricks has been with Powell Communications for nearly five years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Business Strategy and Growth. In this role, she spearheaded client acquisition, expanded corporate partnerships, and led strategic initiatives to strengthen the agency’s growth trajectory across industries.
Prior to this, she served as Vice President at G&S Business Communications, where she focused on growth and corporate communications, enhancing the agency’s presence in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Earlier, she worked with CooperKatz & Company, where across more than a decade she rose to become Director of Client Services, managing high-profile accounts and leading integrated communication strategies.
Her earlier roles at G&S included leadership positions in client engagement, growth initiatives, and corporate communications, further sharpening her expertise in brand building and business development.
Katy Hendricks earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida, equipping her with a strong academic foundation in strategic communications.
