Hong Kong SAR, September 2025 – Kelvin Ko has joined Polymer Capital as Vice President – Human Capital, bringing over 15 years of experience in payroll, HR accounting, taxation, and financial business partnering. In his new role, Kelvin will oversee human capital strategies and operations across the investment platform, aligning talent and HR functions with Polymer Capital’s growth and innovation goals in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining Polymer Capital, Kelvin Ko served at Aesop for nearly six years, where he held the position of Finance Business Partner – Payroll & Projects, Asia. In this capacity, he was responsible for regional payroll operations, HR controlling, and strategic HR projects across multiple countries in Asia. He previously served as Senior Payroll Officer, Asia at Aesop, deepening his expertise in compensation processes and regional compliance.
Before his tenure at Aesop, he spent almost seven years at Société Générale, where he worked as both Payroll and Taxation Specialist and Tax and Accounting Specialist. His work focused on managing taxation, accounting, and payroll compliance in a highly regulated banking environment, honing his skills in cross-border financial governance.
Kelvin also worked with PwC as a Senior Consultant, where he provided advisory services related to tax and compliance matters for corporate clients. Earlier in his career, he began as an Associate at Tricor Services Limited, gaining foundational experience in corporate services and financial administration.
