Phoenix, Arizona, United States, November 2025 — Arizona Diamondbacks has announced the appointment of Kenny Farrell as the new Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Strategy Officer, marking a major milestone in his nearly three-decade tenure with the organisation. In this expanded leadership role, Farrell will oversee brand strategy, marketing innovation, fan engagement, revenue optimisation, and long-term organisational planning as the Diamondbacks continue to evolve both on and off the field.
Before stepping into this new role, Farrell most recently served as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Business Analytics at the Arizona Diamondbacks. During this period, he led several strategic initiatives focused on audience growth, digital engagement, brand positioning, and data-driven fan experience transformation.
Prior to this, he was Vice President, Marketing & Analytics, further strengthening the franchise’s marketing architecture and insights-based decision-making frameworks. His work helped position the Diamondbacks as a forward-thinking MLB organisation leveraging analytics to enhance loyalty, attendance, and community connection.
Earlier in his career, Farrell served as Vice President, Business Analytics, where he advanced organisational intelligence through predictive modelling, operational analytics, and commercial forecasting. His tenure also includes serving as Senior Director, Business Strategy & Operations, where he contributed to organisational structure, financial performance, and cross-functional optimisation.
His journey with the franchise began in Ticketing Operations, where he worked his way up from foundational roles to leadership as Assistant Director, Ticket Operations. His evolution through multiple domains — operations, strategy, analytics, and marketing — reflects a rare career arc grounded in institutional knowledge, innovation, and long-term commitment to the organisation.
