Copenhagen, Denmark, September 2025 – Abacus Medicine Group has announced the appointment of Eva Berner as its new Chief People Officer. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in human resources, leadership development, and organizational transformation, Berner brings extensive experience to her new role. She will be responsible for spearheading the Group’s people strategy, leadership development, talent acquisition, and organizational growth.
Prior to joining Abacus Medicine Group, Eva Berner served as Direktør at Focus Advokater, where she held leadership responsibilities across functions such as strategy, business development, organizational development, and leadership coaching, as well as overseeing critical support departments including HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Compliance. Her tenure of over three years was marked by impactful contributions to executive leadership and operational excellence.
Before Focus Advokater, Eva Berner held the role of VP HR at Teradyne Industrial Automation Group, which includes companies like Universal Robots and MIR. She also served on the senior management teams at Universal Robots and Teradyne, contributing to HR strategy, organizational design, and leadership development across global teams. With close to two years in these roles, her work focused on talent management, performance systems, and DE&I initiatives.
Her earlier leadership role at Orifarm A/S spanned approximately eight years, where she was first Senior Vice President of HR and Corporate Communication, followed by promotion to Executive Vice President. As part of Orifarm’s Executive Management and Board, she managed corporate HR, CSR, communication, and business transformation, making her a key player in shaping the organization’s people and purpose agenda.
In her foundational years, Eva Berner built a robust HR career with key positions at ISS A/S, Nassau Door A/S, and GN Store Nord, as well as advisory and consulting experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers. With over two decades across these organizations, she handled a wide range of strategic and operational HR areas including leadership development, change management, recruitment, organizational restructuring, and labor law compliance.
