Keva Appoints Avik Ghosh as HR Head for Asia Business

Singapore, January 2026 — Keva – Fragrances, Flavours & Aroma Ingredients has appointed Avik Ghosh as HR Head – Asia, strengthening its leadership as the company continues to scale its people and culture agenda across key growth markets in the region. Based in Singapore, Avik will lead Keva’s HR strategy across Asia, focusing on building high-performance organisations, strengthening leadership capability, and enabling business growth through robust people systems and talent programs.

With close to 20 years of HR leadership experience across Asia-Pacific, Avik brings deep expertise in regional people strategy, organization design, talent development, workforce transformation, and M&A integration. His appointment comes at a time when Keva is expanding its global footprint and investing strongly in capabilities, governance, and technology-driven growth across markets.

Before joining Keva, Avik served as Executive Director at Anvil Energy, where he led enterprise functions including HR, IT, Administration and Marketing, while also spearheading the scale-up of a new rooftop solar business unit. In this role, he was instrumental in building organisational structures and capabilities from inception, driving governance systems, operating model redesign, and embedding agile performance and leadership behaviours to support rapid growth.

A significant part of Avik’s career has been with Kerry, where he spent over 11 years in senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Regional HR Director – Southeast Asia & ANZ, partnering with leaders across 10+ markets and supporting 3,000+ employees in a regional business of €650 million+. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping HR operating models, designing scalable workforce structures, leading greenfield expansions, and supporting mergers and acquisitions across Asia.

At Kerry, Avik led major initiatives such as new site set-ups, including a flavour R&D centre in Singapore and a flavour plant in Indonesia, alongside leading M&A integrations across Malaysia, Vietnam, and India. He also drove talent and leadership programs, built high-potential pipelines and competency frameworks, and served as the APMEA lead for the Kerry Leadership Competency Framework, embedding it into performance, succession and talent processes. His work is also credited with improving employee engagement significantly and championing diversity, equity and inclusion programs across the region.

Earlier in his career, Avik held HR leadership roles at Asian Paints PPG Pvt. Ltd. and Asian Paints, where he led HR for business units and manufacturing operations, including responsibilities spanning HR, industrial relations, and plant-level workforce leadership. He began his professional HR journey with ICICI Bank.

Avik is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he completed his PGDPMIR (Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration). With his strong regional leadership exposure and proven track record of driving organization-wide transformation, Avik is well-positioned to contribute to Keva’s continued evolution as a globally expanding fragrance and flavour player.
