Kim Forgues has officially taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at RONA, marking a significant step in her distinguished career in human resources management. With over two decades of experience, Forgues brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic acumen to one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers.
Before joining RONA, Forgues served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Wolseley Canada Inc., where she was instrumental from December 2018 until April 2024. In this role, she led the HR operations, developing and implementing strategies that significantly enhanced employee engagement and operational efficiency across the company.
Prior to her tenure at Wolseley, Forgues was a Partner at Odgers Berndtson from January 2017 to December 2018, where she led the firm’s CHRO practice. Her work involved executive assessment, succession planning, coaching, and enhancing team effectiveness, which further solidified her reputation in the industry.
Earlier in her career, Forgues held significant roles at D+H (now Finastra), The Home Depot Canada, and CIBC. Her extensive experience also includes impactful positions at Bombardier and Pratt & Whitney, where she was responsible for a wide range of human resources functions from talent management to organizational effectiveness.
