Richmond, Virginia, United States, September 2025 — Performance Food Group (PFG) has appointed Kimberley Blue as Vice President of Human Resources. In her new role, Kimberley will be responsible for leading people strategy and HR operations across one of North America’s largest food and foodservice distribution companies, supporting over 30,000 associates and more than 150 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Kimberley brings over two decades of rich experience in human resources, talent management, and operations. Most recently, she founded Ardent HR Solutions, where she advised organizations on compliance, recruiting, employee relations, and organizational strategy, while also serving as Employee Relations Manager at Old Dominion University.
Before this, she held leadership roles at US Foods, serving as both Field Recruiter and HR professional where she strengthened recruitment pipelines and supported workforce planning initiatives. Her earlier tenure with Lowe’s Companies, Inc. saw her in dual roles as Human Resources Manager and Assistant Store Manager, where she drove people development and contingency planning strategies.
Kimberley also served as HR Business Partner at Lidl US and Regional HR Manager at GPM Investments, LLC, contributing to organizational growth and employee engagement strategies. Prior to that, she spent over three years with Lowe’s in Richmond as Human Resources Business Partner, and earlier as Human Resources Director at Reinhart Foodservice, she implemented HR frameworks tailored for large-scale operations.
Her career began with The Home Depot, where she spent a decade as Operations Manager, honing her leadership and operational expertise in a fast-paced retail environment. Across her journey, Kimberley has built a strong reputation for driving people-centric strategies, building resilient HR systems, and delivering measurable impact across industries including retail, foodservice, and higher education.
