San Carlos, California, United States, September 2025 – Kimberly Do, PHR has taken on a new role as Head of People at TELO Trucks, a cutting-edge EV startup that is revolutionizing the compact electric truck segment for city dwellers and adventurers alike.
Kimberly brings with her a rich and diverse HR leadership background, having spent nearly seven years at Matterport in various people operations roles. Most recently, she served as Manager, Global People Operations, where she led a team managing HR functions for a 600-person global workforce. She played a key role in guiding the company through IPO preparations, multiple M&A integrations, systems implementations, RIF initiatives, and cross-functional compliance efforts.
Before that, she worked as HR & Recruiting Ops Specialist at Matterport, managing recruiting metrics, compensation processes, and global onboarding for over 200 hires. She also served as Recruiting Coordinator/Sourcer, contributing to high-volume hiring, intern programs, and sourcing for specialized tech roles.
Earlier in her career, Kimberly held the role of Recruiter at Nelson & Associates, managing end-to-end hiring for finance and accounting roles. She then contributed to recruiting efforts at SnapFi and Gigster, focusing on sourcing, interview scheduling, and program development.
Kimberly also spent two years as a Research Associate with Dr. John Sullivan and Associates Consulting, leading research and strategy development for talent acquisition projects targeting veterans, women in STEM, and startup organizations. She began her professional journey at Starbucks, where she excelled in leadership and team development as a Shift Supervisor, receiving accolades for customer service and sales.
Her broad-based experience across startup, corporate, and consulting environments makes her uniquely positioned to lead TELO’s people strategy during this high-growth phase. As Head of People, Kimberly will oversee the end-to-end employee experience, shaping culture, scaling operations, and aligning people initiatives with TELO’s mission of sustainable, purpose-built mobility.
