Mumbai Metropolitan Region, India, January 2025 – Kinnari Desai has been named the HR Head at o3 Capital, a leading mid-market investment bank. In her new role, Kinnari will lead the people function, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development, driving growth and fostering a strong workplace culture.
Before joining o3 Capital, Kinnari served as a Senior Recruiter at McKinsey & Company for over five years. She led MBA hiring for the India office, managed the summer associate program, and facilitated the new hire orientation, contributing significantly to the firm’s talent acquisition strategies.
Earlier in her career, Kinnari worked at EY for five years, where she managed the PAN India campus hiring strategy for advisory roles and led employer branding projects. Her roles included Assistant Manager and Executive, focusing on end-to-end recruiting and college recruitment.

Kinnari also held positions as a Recruitment Consultant at ABC Consultants and Quest Partners, specializing in executive search and mid-senior-level recruitment in the BFSI space. Additionally, she gained international experience as a Campus Recruiting Coordinator at Barclays Investment Bank in New York, supporting analyst hiring for investment banking and sales & trading roles.
Her early career included internships and roles at Brown Brothers Harriman and KPMG US, where she gained experience in talent management and statutory audit within the financial services sector.
