New Delhi, Delhi, India, September 2025 – Kirandeep Chakrabarti has taken on the role of Chief People Officer at WAISL Limited. In this leadership position, she will be responsible for advancing the company’s people strategy, driving organizational transformation, and building a future-ready workforce to support WAISL’s ambitious digital transformation journey.
Prior to this appointment, Chakrabarti was Head of Human Resources, IKC at United Airlines, where she led strategic HR initiatives for over two years. She played a crucial role in organizational scaling, workforce planning, and employee engagement, while also shaping employer branding and diversity and inclusion strategies that enhanced talent attraction and retention.
Before her tenure with United Airlines, she served as Associate Director – HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition Lead for North & East India at Cushman & Wakefield. During this period, she provided strong HR business partnership and leadership in talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee engagement, while championing women’s leadership networks and DEI programs across the organization.
Chakrabarti spent over a decade at IBM, holding multiple senior HR leadership roles including HR Partner – Workforce Restructuring CoE and DGM – HR Partner. Her work focused on high-potential development programs, workforce restructuring, succession planning, and HR process transformation, where she built frameworks that aligned HR with business impact and long-term organizational sustainability.
Earlier in her career, she held pivotal roles at Samsung Electronics in HR planning, where she implemented global HR standards and policies, and at HCL Technologies, where she worked across BU HR functions, leading initiatives such as 360-degree feedback systems and campus recruitment strategies. Her strong foundation in HR practices has been built over more than two decades of progressive experience across global organizations.
