Grand Junction, Colorado, USA, October 2024 – Kirstin Guptill has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at HopeWest, where she will lead human resources operations, culture transformation, and leadership development initiatives for the nonprofit organization. With her deep experience in human resources, Kirstin is expected to foster a collaborative and innovative workplace culture, helping HopeWest continue its mission to serve the communities of western Colorado.
Prior to joining HopeWest, Kirstin Guptill served as Human Resources Director at Marillac Health for over four years. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in driving HR initiatives, including training and development, leadership coaching, compensation strategy, and employee engagement. Her efforts contributed to a positive organizational culture and the alignment of HR strategies with Marillac Health’s mission.
Before that, Kirstin was Human Resource & Travel Manager at Reynolds Polymer Technology for over four years, where she managed HR and travel operations and supported the company’s talent acquisition and development strategies. Her contributions included optimizing HR processes and supporting business growth through leadership initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Kirstin worked as an Employment Specialist at ReHire Colorado, Mesa County Workforce Center, where she successfully matched and placed over 30 clients with long-term job opportunities and provided training and job coaching. She also gained early experience in HR as an intern at Critical Nurse Staffing Inc., where she contributed to HRIS implementation and new hire orientation processes.
