Zurich, Switzerland, May 2025 — Swarovski has announced that Kolja Kiofsky, currently General Manager North America, will be elevated to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, effective January 2026. This strategic appointment comes as part of the company’s long-term vision to reinforce global commercial leadership and sustain its growth trajectory.
Kolja’s tenure in North America has been marked by profitable, above-market growth, driven by a renewed brand focus and rigorous execution of Swarovski’s LUXignite strategy. Under his leadership, the North American business underwent a complete transformation, delivering consistent double-digit top- and bottom-line performance while expanding its omnichannel luxury presence.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Kolja will oversee Swarovski’s global commercial operations and bring his transformative approach to a broader scale. His global experience, including previous leadership roles in global customer experience and retail marketing, positions him well to guide Swarovski through the next phase of its global brand evolution.
Swarovski also announced the departure of Michele Molon, current Chief Commercial Officer, who will step down at the end of July 2025. Michele has played a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence during his tenure and has been a key force behind the successful implementation of the LUXignite strategy across global markets.
In the interim period, Ilse Roeffen, Head of Emerging Markets & Businesses, will assume the role of interim Chief Commercial Officer, ensuring a seamless transition. Ilse brings significant experience and operational acumen, having led various emerging markets for Swarovski with distinction.
Commenting on the transition, Alexis Nasard, CEO of Swarovski, said, “Kolja Kiofsky’s promotion to Chief Commercial Officer marks an exciting new chapter for Swarovski. Kolja’s leadership and strategic vision have been pivotal in driving growth and transformation in North America. At the same time, Swarovski extends its heartfelt gratitude to Michele Molon for his outstanding contributions and dedication to our company and brand. Michele leaves with a strong business and organizational legacy.”
