Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines, April 2025 – Krishna Marie Santillan has been appointed as the new Vice President for Learning Experience at Athena, a premier global executive support company dedicated to helping leaders unlock time abundance. Prior to joining Athena, Krishna led Learning and Development for the Asia-Pacific region at Uber, where she oversaw innovative training strategies and scaled talent development across hybrid and remote environments. Her leadership at Uber saw the successful launch of large-scale learning programs tailored to regional dynamics.
Before Uber, she spent nearly seven years at Optum, where she rose to Associate Director, managing end-to-end training design and delivery for a 1,700+ FTE operation. She spearheaded projects that yielded over $1 million in operational savings, introduced gamified and video-based learning experiences, and improved training efficiency by over 30%.
Earlier in her career, Krishna served in leadership roles at Stream Global Services, Alorica, SYKES, and Convergys, driving learning innovation and operational effectiveness across multiple Philippine sites. Her work has consistently centered around aligning learning outcomes to business goals while enhancing engagement and performance across large, diverse teams.
