The company has also designated him as a Senior Management Personnel, as per a regulatory filing. In his new leadership role, he will spearhead the company’s growth agenda, drive new business opportunities, accelerate strategic initiatives, and strengthen Bajaj Electricals’ long-term expansion across its consumer products and lighting businesses.
A seasoned business leader with over 26 years of experience across consumer goods, marketing, business transformation, and general management, Krishnan brings deep expertise in business strategy, brand building, category leadership, growth acceleration, and organizational transformation. His diverse leadership experience positions him well to support Bajaj Electricals’ next phase of innovation and sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Bajaj Electricals Ltd, Krishnan Sundaram served as Chief Executive Officer at VINI COSMETICS PRIVATE LIMITED for about two years, where he led the company’s overall business strategy, growth initiatives, and operational performance in the highly competitive personal care market.
Before this, he founded his own independent consulting venture as Founder, where he partnered with emerging consumer brands to accelerate growth, develop scalable business models, and strengthen their market presence through strategic advisory and business transformation initiatives.
Earlier, Krishnan spent nearly 24 years with Unilever, building an exceptional leadership career across marketing, business management, and global transformation. His most recent assignment was as Vice President and Business Head – Nutrition, where he led the nutrition business and played a pivotal role in the integration of Unilever’s acquisition of the GSK Nutrition (Horlicks) portfolio. During his tenure, he also served as Vice President, Global Marketing Transformation and Capability, driving organization-wide marketing transformation and capability development from London, and earlier as Vice President, Marketing Transformation, South Asia, where he partnered with regional leadership to deliver business growth across multiple countries and product categories.
During his long tenure at Unilever, he also held several key commercial and marketing leadership positions, including General Manager – Beverages, Marketing Manager – Premium Laundry, Marketing Manager – Coffee, Senior Brand Manager, Sales and Customer Manager, and began his journey with the organization as a Business Leadership Trainee. Across these assignments, he successfully led business strategy, P&L management, category development, consumer marketing, innovation, customer engagement, and sales leadership across several iconic brands.
