Kansas City, Missouri, United States, June 2024 – Kristin Gibbar has joined Populous as the new Chief People Officer. In this role, Kristin will be responsible for leading the global people strategy, bringing her extensive HR expertise to the firm.
Kristin Gibbar brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Mom’s Meals | A Purfoods Company. During her tenure, she was instrumental in driving strategic HR initiatives, enhancing employee learning and development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in Des Moines, IA.
Prior to that, Kristin was the Chief Human Resources Officer at SelectQuote Insurance Services. Here, she led HR strategies that significantly improved employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Kristin spent over 13 years at Black & Veatch, holding various leadership roles. She served as the Director of Operations, Renewables, and the Director of Global Operations, Federal Business. She was also the Global HR Director for the Management Consulting and Special Projects business units, demonstrating her ability to manage complex HR functions and lead significant organizational change.
Her earlier career includes positions such as the Director of Talent Management at Adknowledge, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Leader at Amazon.com, and the Talent Acquisition Specialist/Leader at Sun Microsystems.
