Hyderabad, Telangana, India, May 2025 – ANJ Group, one of India’s largest design and build firms, has announced the appointment of Kushal Kunder as Chief Operating Officer. Bringing with him more than 28 years of rich experience across organizations such as CBRE, K. Raheja, and Skanska, Kushal is expected to play a pivotal role in spearheading operational excellence, project delivery, and leadership development for ANJ Group’s next phase of strategic expansion.
The company emphasized Kushal’s impressive track record in project management, vendor negotiations, stakeholder alignment, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects as a key factor behind this leadership move. His industry acumen will strengthen ANJ Group’s delivery capabilities across verticals, including corporate offices, hospitals, hotels, educational institutions, and data centers.
Before joining ANJ Group, Kushal Kunder served at CBRE for over 20 years, where he held progressive leadership roles, most recently as Senior Director and India Account Lead for a global software major, leading real estate solutions across India. His tenure also included roles as Director and Associate Director – Head of Operations (C&I works), where he drove major construction and interior projects for commercial and industrial clients across the country.
Earlier in his career, Kushal held multiple leadership roles in project execution at K. Raheja, including as Senior GM and GM, Head of Operations, overseeing high-profile commercial projects in Mumbai. His extensive exposure included multi-city project handling, client management, and team leadership.
Kushal’s foundational years in the construction and infrastructure space were shaped by his hands-on roles at Skanska, Kumagai-Skanska-HCC-Itochu JV, and Patel Engineering Ltd., where he contributed to landmark projects like the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Delhi Metro Underground Rail Corridor. His early years provided deep insight into project planning, civil engineering execution, and large-scale infrastructure operations.
His career began with marketing and junior engineering roles in firms like Parikh Infosys Pvt. Ltd. and Patel Engineering Ltd., building a solid base in civil engineering and software solutions for the construction industry.
