Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 — Lakshmi Ram Kumar Subbaraj has been named Director—Sales at JSW MG Motor, as the company positions itself for its next growth phase under the JSW Group–SAIC partnership. Known for his strategic acumen, Subbaraj is poised to enhance the brand’s market presence and accelerate its reach in India’s highly competitive automotive sector.
With over 25 years in leadership roles across Tata Motors, Ford Motor Company, TVS Motor Company, and ASCO India, Subbaraj brings a wealth of expertise in sales, marketing, business transformation, and strategic channel development. At Tata Motors, he excelled as National Sales & Marketing Head – SCV Cargo & Pickups, where he scaled volumes and strengthened the dealer network through effective product and field strategies.
During his tenure at Ford Motor Company as Vice President – Sales, Subbaraj propelled growth with significant gains in market share—most notably a 9-percentage point increase for the Endeavour—and maintained EcoSport’s momentum during new product introductions. His customer-centric leadership shifted Ford’s JD Power SSI ranking into the top 5 and secured the top position in the Forester CX syndicated study.
Subbaraj also brings early leadership experience from TVS Motor Company in rural market expansion and ASCO India managing key institutional clients and instrumentation sales. At JSW MG Motor, he will now direct strategic sales operations, build customer engagement, and align distribution systems with the brand’s long-term growth goals under the JSW–SAIC collaboration.
