London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Lara Brown has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Coniq, a leading Total Customer Engagement and Loyalty Company for retail destinations. Bringing extensive expertise in finance, business strategy, and operational leadership, Lara will play a pivotal role in advancing Coniq’s financial strategy and supporting its global growth initiatives.
Lara most recently served as Finance Director at The Office Group (TOG and Fora), where she led a 60-member team through due diligence, a complex merger, and integration processes following the formation of a joint brand under Blackstone and Brockton. Her tenure included implementing SAP improvements that significantly enhanced business performance across the organization.
Prior to TOG, Lara was Finance Director at springchicken.co.uk, where she professionalized the business, set strategic directions, and led fundraising efforts during the challenging COVID-19 period. Her contributions included strengthening leadership and improving operational efficiency in finance, HR, and operations.
Lara also held several senior finance roles during her 11-year tenure at Marks and Spencer, including Head of Financial Control, Change and Finance Shared Services, where she led transformation initiatives, and Head of Finance – Strategic Projects, where she played a critical role in strategic financial planning and analysis for key initiatives.
She began her career at KPMG, where she honed her skills in financial auditing and advisory services as an Assistant Manager.
