Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 — Apuarv Sethi has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Razorpay, strengthening the fintech company’s leadership team as it continues expanding its full-stack financial solutions ecosystem for businesses across India.
Sethi brings extensive experience as a marketing and P&L leader across brand, growth, product marketing, and business functions, with expertise spanning SaaS, eCommerce, fintech, education, and IT services. Over the years, he has built strong capabilities in driving marketing transformation, brand strategy, consumer growth, and scalable business outcomes.
Prior to becoming CMO, Sethi spent more than five years with Razorpay, where he held leadership roles including Chief Marketing Officer & SME Business Head, Senior Vice President Marketing, and Vice President Marketing – Leading Brand, PR, Marketing, and SME Business. During this journey, he led Razorpay’s brand strategy, public relations, marketing transformation, SME business growth, and customer engagement initiatives while strengthening the company’s positioning within India’s rapidly evolving fintech ecosystem.
Before joining Razorpay, Sethi spent nearly seven years with Flipkart, progressing through multiple senior marketing leadership roles including Senior Director Brand Marketing, Director Brand Marketing, and Associate Director Brand Marketing. At Flipkart, he led large-scale integrated brand campaigns, drove brand strategy and go-to-market initiatives, managed customer and traffic metrics, and helped build marketing strategies across categories including fintech, grocery, private labels, beauty, home, and sports. He also played a key role in developing flagship brand initiatives such as Flipkart Plus and multiple high-impact consumer campaigns.
Earlier in his career, Sethi held marketing leadership roles at Manipal Global Education Services, Manipal Universal Learning, and MindTree, where he built expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, brand management, social media strategy, lead generation, and integrated marketing communications.
With over two decades of experience across technology, fintech, education, and eCommerce, Sethi brings a strong blend of business strategy, consumer marketing, digital growth, and brand leadership to Razorpay’s next phase of expansion.
