Trisha Agarwal Promoted to Associate Director – Talent Acquisition at ACKO

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 – ACKO has promoted Trisha Agarwal to the role of Associate Director – Talent Acquisition, recognizing her strong contribution toward scaling talent acquisition, leadership hiring, employer branding, and recruitment transformation initiatives within the organization.

In her new role, Trisha Agarwal will continue to strengthen talent acquisition strategy, leadership hiring, recruitment operations, and workforce scaling initiatives as ACKO accelerates its growth across India’s rapidly evolving digital insurance and fintech ecosystem.

Before her elevation to Associate Director – Talent Acquisition at ACKO, Trisha Agarwal served in leadership roles within the organization, including Deputy General Manager, contributing significantly to recruitment operations and strategic talent initiatives as the company expanded its technology and business capabilities.

Prior to joining ACKO, she spent more than five years with Freo, where she held multiple talent acquisition leadership positions including Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Talent Acquisition Lead. During her tenure, she played a key role in scaling the organization’s workforce, strengthening employer branding, driving policy-making initiatives, and overseeing hiring across engineering, product, data, and business functions.

At Freo, she was instrumental in helping the company increase its headcount significantly, streamline recruitment operations, reduce agency dependency, strengthen campus and employee referral hiring strategies, and close several leadership and CXO-level mandates. She also contributed to HR policy development and served as the Presiding Officer for the POSH Committee.

Earlier in her career, Trisha Agarwal spent over five years with EY as Lead Recruiter, where she managed both volume and niche hiring across finance, data science, ETL, and analytics functions. During this period, she supported large-scale hiring initiatives, expanded specialized talent teams, and earned multiple promotions in recognition of her performance and contribution.

She began her professional journey with MeritTrac Services as Operation Executive, where she supported recruitment operations, candidate assessments, hiring drives, and talent coordination activities.
