Bayport, Minnesota, United States, December 2025 – Laura Watterson has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Andersen Corporation, where she will lead the company’s global human resources organization. In this role, she is responsible for business HR, total rewards, talent and culture enablement, HR services, communications and community, and enterprise security, supporting Andersen’s long-term people and business strategy.
In her most recent role prior to joining Andersen Corporation, Laura Watterson served for several years as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at CWT, where she led global human resources strategy, talent, rewards, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across international operations.
Before this, she held the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources & Risk Officer at Cambria, where she was responsible for enterprise-wide HR leadership along with risk oversight, supporting business resilience and governance.
Earlier at CWT, she served as Senior Vice President – Global Talent & Rewards and Acting Chief Human Resources Officer, playing a key role in global talent strategy, leadership development, and total rewards across regions.
She also served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Johnson Brothers Liquor Co., overseeing people strategy and organizational leadership during her tenure with the company.
A significant part of her career was spent at Aimia Inc., where she held multiple senior leadership roles over several years, including Vice President, Talent and Culture – Global Coalitions and Vice President, Talent and Culture – U.S. Region. In these roles, she led end-to-end human resources, internal communications, social responsibility, and facilities management across the Americas and the UK, and was a member of both regional and global executive leadership teams.
Earlier in her career, Laura Watterson held progressive HR leadership roles at Philips Lighting and General Mills, where she worked across manufacturing, retail operations, international divisions, and business planning functions, building deep expertise in labor relations, organizational development, talent management, and HR strategy.
Laura Watterson holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, completed between 1999 and 2001.
