Ballarat, Victoria, Australia – October 2024 – Lauren Baker has been appointed as the Chief People & Culture Officer at UFS Healthcare Ltd. In this new role, Lauren will oversee all human resources and organizational culture initiatives, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and strategic workforce development across UFS Healthcare’s diverse service areas, which include pharmacies, medical centers, and healthcare services.
Prior to joining UFS Healthcare, Lauren served as the General Manager of People & Culture at McCallum Disability Services Inc. for six years. She led HR transformation initiatives, developed strategic workforce planning, and championed diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, enhancing the overall organizational culture and employee satisfaction.
Lauren has been a Board Member at Beaufort and Skipton Health Service since July 2022, where she has contributed to HR strategy and policy oversight, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and promoting a supportive work environment.
Before her role at McCallum, Lauren was the Principal Consultant at Rightwork Solutions Pty Ltd. for three and a half years, where she specialized in HR advisory, change management, and strategic planning, supporting various organizations in achieving their human capital goals.
Earlier in her career, Lauren worked for Ambulance Victoria in multiple roles, including Employee Relations Specialist and HR Business Partner. During her eight-year tenure, she managed employee relations, HR operations, and workforce planning, playing a crucial role in improving HR processes and staff engagement.
