New York, United States, September 2025 — Lauren Marks has stepped into a new role as AVP, Head of Talent Management at L’Oréal USA, where she will lead enterprise-wide talent strategy, development frameworks, and leadership initiatives to strengthen the company’s people agenda across its U.S. operations.
Marks has been with L’Oréal since 2019, holding multiple leadership positions within its People Development & Learning team. Most recently, she served as AVP, People Development & Learning | Head of Transitions Practice, where she oversaw programs designed to support employees at critical career moments — including onboarding, re-entry, cross-divisional mobility, and advancement into new management roles.
Earlier, she co-built the Acceleration Practice within People Development & Learning as AVP, where she consulted on and facilitated workshops to accelerate culture change and leadership pipeline growth. She also led L’Oréal USA’s executive coaching practice and democratized access to coaching solutions at scale. Her earlier contributions included driving programs for team effectiveness and embedding leadership practices across divisions.
Before joining L’Oréal, Marks worked with Goldman Sachs, where she held roles including Vice President, Talent Assessment and Associate, Learning & Engagement, focusing on global talent processes, employee engagement, and the creation of the company’s first internal learning platform. She also worked as Senior Analyst, HR Operational Efficiency, consulting on HR process improvements and technology implementations.
She began her career with Mercer as a Talent Consulting Analyst and Associate, where she designed and executed HR consulting engagements for global clients across industries. With over a decade of experience spanning consulting, financial services, and beauty, Lauren Marks brings a proven blend of HR strategy, instructional design, leadership development, and talent management to her new role at L’Oréal USA.
