Laurie brings a wealth of experience in talent management, organizational development, and leadership strategy to her new role, where she will focus on enhancing Xenon’s HR functions and supporting the company’s growth in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Prior to joining Xenon Pharmaceuticals, Laurie served as Senior Director, Talent Management & Engagement at EyePoint Pharmaceuticals for over two years, where she led strategic initiatives to drive employee engagement and talent development across the organization.
Before this, Laurie held various leadership roles at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals for five years, including Director, Talent Strategy & Development and Director, Learning & Organization Development. In these roles, she was instrumental in implementing workforce planning, leadership development, and succession planning strategies.
Earlier in her career, Laurie contributed to global learning and development strategies at companies like RSA Security, Vistaprint, and Dell Technologies, where she developed key competencies in instructional design, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
